Thinking of buying a hot tub? The first thing we will need to look at before we wire your hot tub is the electrical service. We can determine if your current service will be able to handle the extra demand of a hot tub. The electrical requirements of the hot tub can be determined by your Electrician or by referring to the hot tub Owner's Manual. The ratings of your electrical service are near the main breaker in your electrical panel, either at the top or the bottom of the electrical panel. We will also need two available spaces in the panel to accommodate the new circuit breaker. If you are unsure your Electrician can confirm this during your consultation.
For your safety, the electrical code requires that we protect the circuit supplying the hot tub with a class A ground fault circuit interrupter. This will be installed in an outside weather rated disconnect box and be within site from the hot tub it is protecting. If you have bought your hot tub and would like an estimate, please call or email us and we will arrange a time that is convenient for you. - Donily Electric "Your Best Connection"
